VideoSimLab-Template

Forkable jsPsych study project for video studies — timeline, questionnaires, replay trials and deployment to JATOS.

What & why

A video study consists of a timeline, questionnaires, replay trials and the deployment to a JATOS server. The template provides all of this as a runnable project. To plan a new study, fork the repository and change only the configuration in src/main.ts. The plugins Cockpit-Display-Replay and SAGAT-freeze are already included, as are 17 questionnaire scales in German and English. Example recordings and display configurations are available as assets.

The template combines the plugins of the set into one study. The documentation in the repository (docs/) describes the project structure, the trial configurations, the procedures of earlier studies and a how-to list for new sectors, recordings and SAGAT items.

Quickstart

Fork the repository (gitlab.com/ecosimlab/videosimlab-template), run npm install and copy the example assets to public/. Then start npm run dev and configure the study in src/main.ts. The included GitLab CI pipeline deploys the study to JATOS.
